Tubular heaters are straight or configured with one or more elbows. They can be used in immersion and air heating applications.
HOTO's tubular heating elements are the most versatile and most suitable industrial heating solutions for a wide range of applications. HOTO's tube parts are factory-configured in almost any shape or size. Bending diameters can be customized on request, and we can manufacture a variety of industrial heating solutions, such as flanged tubular heaters. Tubular heaters are usually made of steel, stainless steel, Incoloy, Inconel, or titanium alloy. Tubular components are often considered the basis of all heating elements. These heating elements have a robust outer sheath that helps protect the process heater from physical stress and use high-quality alloys for efficient heat transfer from the resistance coil to the heating medium.
Depending on their rating, sheath, and shape, HOTO tube heaters can be used in a variety of industrial heating applications (conduction, convection, radiation heating) that require process temperatures up to 750°C (1,382 °F) to heat liquids, gases, and solids. A variety of diameters are available to adjust power density in applications and to design industrial heating products with the best performance and long service life. Standard and custom terminal pins are easy to install and maintain. Wattco uses high-quality magnesium oxide for efficient heat transfer from the resistance coil to the heating medium, whether air, liquid or solid. The bend radius is carefully designed to achieve optimal performance when meeting the "form fit and function" of the application.
Tubular heating elements are commonly used in industrial heating due to their versatility and affordability. They are used for heating liquids, solids and gases through conduction, convection, and radiation heating. Capable of reaching high temperatures, tubular heaters are an efficient choice for heavy duty industrial applications.
· Custom design and bend formations available to suit your application, to replicate an existing design, or repair a faulty element.
· Heat wire spiral and cold length designed to match application.
· Sheath can be protected from atmospheric corrosion and mechanical abuse.
· Silicone resin or epoxy resin seal options available for moisture proofing the elements.
· Various termination options available including stud, plain pin, quick connect, lead-wire, bulkhead fitting, locator washer etc.
· Available with or without a custom mounting bracket.
· Sheath can be manufactured in copper, stainless steel, Incoloy®, or titanium.
· The sheath surrounds a helical coil of nickel- chrome resistance wire, centered and tightly compacted by an electrical insulator and heat transfer medium of magnesium oxide.
· WNH Heating typically use Incoloy® for 6.7 mm diameter, titanium for 8 mm diameter, and Incoloy® 800 or Incoloy® 840 for 11 mm diameter.
Typically used for:
· Heating platens for applications such as printing.
· Constant heat for radiant and process heating.
· High temperature heating for ovens and seal bars.
· Immersion heating for liquids, gases, and chemicals.
· Preventing ice formation in cooling and freezer units.
FAQ:
1.Are you factory?
Yes, we are factory, all customers are more than welcome to visit our factory .
2.What are the available product certifications?
We have certifications such as: ATEX, CE, CNEX. IS014001, OHSAS18001,SIRA, DCI. Etc
3.How Do Tubular Heating Elements Work?
Tubular heating elements transfer heat through direct exposure to a liquid, solid, or gas. They are configured to a specific watt density, size, shapes, and sheath based on their specific application. They can reach temperatures of 750 degrees centigrade or higher when configured properly.
4.What Mediums Can Tubular Heating Elements Be Used For?
Tubular heating elements can be used for heating a variety of mediums including liquids, gases, and solids. Tubular heating elements in conduction heaters use direct contact for heating solids. In convection heating, elements transfer heat between a surface and a gas or liquid.
5.How long is the warranty time for your product?
Our officially promised warranty time is 1 year after delivering at best.
