Pipe heaters are used in air pipes to heat air at various flows and temperatures. Designed for high temperatures, these durable heaters are rugged and suitable for the most demanding applications. Pipe heaters come in a variety of sizes, lengths and power densities.
HOTO air duct heaters are designed to heat new or recycled air circulating in industrial processes or in air conditioned buildings, up to 500 kW, 750 V 3-phase, > 300 °C.
HOTO air duct heaters have rectangular or circular cross-section and can be mounted between flanges over an air vent or inserted in a drawer in a sleeve or a case.
They are equipped with U-shaped or finned heating elements mounted in a protected steel or stainless steel case or on a mounting plate. A safety device (thermostat, PT100 sensor or thermocouple) limits the temperature.
An IP30 to IP55 electrical cabinet, in steel or stainless steel, protects the connections of the heating elements for connection to the power supply and safety devices with the power cabinet.
HOTO air duct heaters are designed and manufactured either as part of our standard range or as a customised solution (power, voltage, dimensions, material, etc.) in our factory in St Florentin.
Application:
Air duct type electric heaters are used for industrial duct heaters, air conditioning duct heaters and air in various industries. By heating the air, the temperature of the output air is increased, and it is generally inserted in the transverse opening of the duct. According to the working temperature of the air duct, it is divided into low temperature, medium temperature and high temperature. According to the wind speed in the air duct, it is divided into low wind speed, medium wind speed and high wind speed.
Energy-saving duct heaters are mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the required air temperature, up to 850°C. It has been widely used in many scientific research and production laboratories such as aerospace, weapon industry, chemical industry and universities, etc. It is especially suitable for automatic temperature control and large flow high temperature combined system and accessory test.
