Extra Heavy Wall Sheath: Offered in Incoloy®, Inconel®, steel, and stainless steel with thicknesses of 0.035” or 0.065”, providing enhanced durability and resistance.
Flange Sizes and Ratings: A wide range of ANSI 3” to 14” flanges are readily available, with the possibility of up to 48”. ANSI Class 150lb and 300lb ratings are common, and up to 2500lb is possible. Also, ASME Section VIII Div 1 “U” Partial Stamp up to 3,000 psig is available.
Passivation Option: Incoloy® and stainless steel sheathed heaters can be supplied with chemically passivated sheaths, which are highly corrosion resistant and achieved through electropolishing.
Welded Elements: Standard flange heaters have elements that are ‘TIG’ or welded to the flange, available for various sheath materials like Incoloy®, stainless steel, steel, copper, and titanium.
Safety and Control Features: Built-in thermostat wells, high limits, thermostats, and thermocouples can be installed upon request. Configured temperature control and power controls are available to meet diverse application needs. Vented or Stand off housings prevent wire overheating in high temperature applications.
Special Terminal Housings: Available in moisture resistant and explosion resistant types. When requesting explosion-proof housing, specific details like Class, Division or zone, Group, and Temperature code for unsafe locations need to be provided.
